Once you’ve completed that, consider applying for the FCS E.D.GE. Virtual Academy if you have a scholar interested in virtual learning from home.

Fairfield City Schools online registration is now open for the upcoming school year for Head Start, PreK, and grades K-12. All new students must register in person at their respective campus and provide the necessary documentation to complete the registration process. Additionally, the FCS Virtual Academy will be available for students in grades 6th-12th until June 27, 2024.

Fairfield City Schools Child Nutrition Department will be offering meals at no cost. There are multiple sites offering meals across the community including schools and community centers.

Tonight, the Fairfield Board of Education recognized the 15 outstanding scholars who completed the CTE Health Science program and passed the rigorous Certified Patient Care Technician Exam. We are so proud of these outstanding students!

FHPS students win 1st place in National High School Business Plan Competition.
The Child Nutrition Departments Staff at The Prep had something special cooking up their sleeves today for our students and staff. Students had the opportunity to sample Philly Cheesesteaks that were fully seasoned and complemented with all the toppings prepared by the staff and the meat products were provided by Tysons Foods.

Girls on the Run is so much fun! We concluded our Spring season with our end of the year celebration. Cheers to a job well done to the young ladies of CJ Donald Middle School.
We are concluding our week of celebration and exploration with the Child Nutrition Staff. We have been intentional this year with operating within the vision of FCS through collaboration and dedication to life long learning in our department to make our program and services better. Today our staff embarked on a trip to Elmore County Schools to learn more about innovation in child nutrition from food trucks to catering and even operational efficiency techniques. We are soaring to greater heights as we continue growing as an intricate part of the puzzle which today was innovation.
Registration is currently available for the Fairfield City Virtual Academy, exclusively for Fairfield residents. If you wish to enroll your students in grades 6 through 12 in our Virtual Academy, you are welcome to apply. Admission criteria and enrollment procedures apply.
