Dear Fairfield Families, Faculty & Staff:
Greetings! In that the safety of our students, faculty and staff are our top priority, Fairfield City Schools has decided to declare Friday, January 10, 2025 as an eLearning Day to ensure the continuity of learning for our scholars. Assigned tasks will be completed off-site with support from their teachers.
For clarity, all buildings will be closed Friday due to anticipated extreme winter weather conditions for our area. The closure also cancels any after school activities and/or sporting events scheduled for Thursday (January 9th) and Friday (January 10th). Please make sure students dress appropriately for the weather on Thursday as the temperatures are expected to continue to drop.
As always, we thank you for your support in all we do. Our anticipated return date is Monday, January 13th. We will continue to monitor the weather and if anything changes, we will let you know as soon as possible. You are encouraged to monitor Fairfield City Schools’ website, social media accounts, and the local news media for any updates.
