Fairfield City Schools District's five-member school board is the official governing body for the school system. Its responsibilities include policy-making, budget approvals, and other duties as prescribed by law.

The following members comprise the school board:

• Randal Smith, President

• Willie Rodgers Jr., Vice President

• Dr. Marian Evans, Member

• Elise M. McLin, Member

• Dr. Michael Williams, Member

The Board meets at 6:00 p.m. on the third Thursday of each month. Unless otherwise specified, the meetings are held in the Gladys T. Coleman Boardroom of the Fairfield Board of Education, 6405 Avenue D, Fairfield, Alabama 35064.

Meetings are open to the public.
